Page Generation

Static pages are "hard-coded" into the page's template within the project's source code.

Dynamic pages are dynamically-generated with content stored in the database and using a custom page template. This offers the ability to edit site content from an administrative back-office interface.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Refers to the process of optimizing a website to improve its visibility in search engine results.

Basic optimization includes adding title, description, and keywords to each page.

Enhanced optimization includes everything from Basic plus a robots.txt and a dynamically-generated sitemap.xml file for indexing.

Comprehensive optimization includes everything from Enhanced plus custom improvements based on a comprehensive SEO analysis of your market and competitor websites and keywords.

Contact Form

All online projects include a visitor contact form.

A Basic contact form includes basic contact info and message fields that store in the database with stored records being viewable from the project's administrative back-office.

This Software / Website Development Agreement is made on April 2, 2025 between Pixelworx (aka “PROVIDER” - that’s us) at 15727 White Water Rd, in Crawford County, Arkansas and Gabriel Hernandez of Maxx Roofing (aka “CLIENT” - that’s you) at 201 W Emma St, Suite D, Springdale, AR 72764.
1. PROJECT SCOPE AND DEVELOPMENT PHASES
1.1 Development Process
The project will proceed through the following phases:
  1. Scope Definition
  2. Project Design or Theme Selection
  3. Schema Development
  4. Core Development
  5. Testing and Approvals
  6. Production Deployment
  7. Support and Maintenance
1.2 Technology Stack
The website will be developed using modern web development technologies and may include various frontend and backend technologies selected to best serve the project's needs. The specific technology choices will be documented in the project specifications.
2. BILLING AND PAYMENT
2.1 Rates and Estimates
  1. Hourly Rate: $150 per hour
  2. Estimated Time Range: Depends on selected plan
  3. The final time investment may be lower or higher than this estimate based on project needs and/or adjustments
2.2 Initial Deposit
A deposit of 0% of the low estimate is required before work begins.
2.3 Billing Frequency
The default billing frequency is monthly. A shorter billing frequency can be selected at a later time. Clients late more than twice on their invoices may also be converted to a shorter billing frequency.
2.4 Estimate Overrun Protection
Overrun protection refers to an approval process for overages. All hours above the low estimate are subject to overrun protection. If at any time your project will exceed the low estimate, we will seek overrun approval before continuing work. You may elect not to participate in the overrun approval process.
2.5 Payment Terms
  1. Invoices are due within 10 days of issuance
  2. Late payments incur an 8% monthly fee and a shortened billing frequency
  3. No refunds will be issued for completed work
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 Content Provision
  1. All website content (copy, imagery, illustrations, data, etc..) must be provided by the Client.
  2. Content writing, research, or acquirement by Provider will be billed at the standard hourly rate plus associated licensing fees.
  3. Content must be provided in a timely manner to maintain project timeline.
3.2 Code Repository and Transfer
  1. Client must establish a Github organization account prior to initial production deployment for homing completed source code.
  2. Source code remains under Provider's control until all of the following conditions are met:
    1. Project is complete
    2. Final approval is received from Client
    3. All payments are received in full
  3. Upon meeting all conditions, source code will be transferred to Client's Github organization and the project will be deployed to the production hosting server.
  4. Client is responsible for maintaining Provider’s repository access and security. Any and all responsibilities of Provider to Client, in regards to this project, are null and void if Provider’s source code repository access is revoked. Without access, Provider is unable to provide service or security updates as needed.
4. Revisions and Changes
4.1 Revision Process
  1. Unlimited revisions are available
  2. All revision time is billed at the standard hourly rate
  3. Client will be notified of time spent on revisions through regular invoices
5. CODE OWNERSHIP AND USAGE RIGHTS
5.1 Code Ownership
  1. Upon full payment, Client owns the rights to use the completed website code
  2. Code ownership is limited to use within this specific project
  3. Client may not copy, transfer, or reuse any portion of the code in other projects
5.2 Developer Rights
  1. Upon full payment, Client owns the rights to use the completed website code
  2. Code ownership is limited to use within this specific project
  3. Client may not copy, transfer, or reuse any portion of the code in other projects
6. OUR PROMISE TO YOU
6.1 Development Standards
Developer warrants that the website will be developed following:
  1. Current industry best practices
  2. Enterprise security guidelines
  3. Professional development methodologies
6.2 Limitation of Liability
Developer's maximum liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the previous two months.
7. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION
7.1 Project Cancellation
  1. Client may cancel the project at any time
  2. All invoiced amounts remain due upon cancellation
  3. No refunds will be issued for completed work
  4. Deposit is non-refundable
7.2 Termed Agreements
If this project includes a termed agreement (such as hosting and maintenance):
  1. Remaining contract value must be paid upon cancellation
  2. Early termination fees may apply as specified in the related agreement
8. HOSTING AND MAINTENANCE
8.1 Required Agreement
  1. Website hosting and maintenance services are required for this project
  2. A separate Hosting and Maintenance Agreement will be executedn
  3. Monthly fees and terms are specified in the separate agreement
9. RESOLVING ANY DISAGREEMENTS
If we ever have a disagreement we can't resolve through conversation, Arkansas law will guide us, and we'll work it out in Crawford County, Arkansas.
10. PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
This agreement includes everything we've discussed and agreed upon. It replaces any earlier conversations or agreements about these services.
